Who is Crisy? (ART)

Hello y’all! My name is Cristina (Crisy) Dimova and I will be placing all of the content provided on this webpage. I am a Bulgarian-American, born and raised in New York. Currently, I am a rising junior attending Trinity College at Hartford, Connecticut. I am double majoring in Psychology and Anthropology and plan to attend graduate school within the upcoming years. As for my achievements thus far, I am the Founder and President of Active Minds at Trinity College. This is a student-led organization that looks to create open discussions and provide further education on the topic of mental health. As it is a fairly-new organization, it’s still amongst the development stages, however I am glad to say that the efforts so far have been tremendous! I further wanted to mention that amongst this section, I have placed my nickname “Crisy,” which is how many of my Bulgarian family members say my name and spell it as. I wanted to make my nickname known amongst this webpage because it was something I didn’t have many people outside of my family call me by. As I got older, I learned to appreciate all that comes with my name and the many ways it can be interpreted. I want those that are viewing this webpage to also feel empowered by their name and feel free to identify as anyway you please. Always remember that this is an open-space for all to view, join and communicate through!
